Varina W. (Viki) Wooster is owner of Wooster Design Inspirations in Bend, Oregon.
Wooster is a Certified Professional Building Designer and also holds an MA in Cultural Anthropology.
She has served on the National Board of AIBD since 2006, as Western District Director, Treasurer, External Vice President and now President, and has served on committees including Marketing, Website and Education. Wooster is a national Delegate for the Oregon Society of AIBD and a past Oregon Society President.

Wooster has been the recipient of several first and second place awards in the national ARDA design competition. She specializes in “right-sized” homes that address energy efficiency, sustainable practices and long-term livability.

As an AIBD Leader, Pillsbury serves on several State and National committees. He also co-chairs the Master Residential Designers Council, which offers mentorship to designers nationwide. He has been a guest speaker at the National AIA Convention, the National AIBD Convention and other design venues.

He is a Certified Professional Building Designer and an 18 year member of the American Institute of Building Design. He has a BS in Architectural Engineering Technology from the Southern College of Technology in Atlanta, GA. and has over 20 years’ experience in renovation, additions and new construction

Paul is past President of the AIBD South Carolina Society as well as the past Eastern District Director of AIBD. He is currently serving as External Vice President on the Executive Board of the AIBD and oversees the Annual Convention Committee and ARDA (American Residential Design Awards) Committee.

Richard is a Certified Professional Building Designer and is the Past President of the California Society of the American Institute of Building Design.

He has been a member of AIBD for 24 years and has served on the State Board for the past ten years including five as the President for the Society.  He has a Masters Degree in Urban Planning from the University of Oregon.

He is currently the Chairperson of the National Finance Committee and Membership Chairperson for the California Society of AIBD.

After working for several architectural and construction firms throughout the Tampa Bay area, John Fought created his own firm, Baker Street Designs. Primarily a residential design office, Baker Street Designs projects have varied from small FHA housing to multi-million dollar estate homes as well as commercial jobs. As a frequent Parade of Homes judge across the state, John has been recognized as a consummate professional and industry leader. He is also involved in his professional society, the AIBD, American Institute of Building Design as a past state President, officer and director. As one of twelve current national examiners for the National Council of Building Designer Certification John has ascended to the office of national council President. Baker Street Designs has been featured in the Orlando Sentinel Home Section. John also earned several awards for new home design and for major renovation/additions. For the past ten years John has been the chairman for the Concept Awards competition, a portion of the Southeast Builders Conference Aurora Awards program. This year he has been asked to chair the 2013 Aurora Awards.

Sater is a Certified Professional Building Designer, Certified Green Professional, Professional Member of the Institute of Classical Architecture, chairman of the Home Plan Marketing Alliance and is the Immediate Past President of the American Institute of Building Design.

He has been a frequent speaker at various national and international conferences including the International Builder’s Show, the Southeast Builder’s Conference, as well as the annual convention of the American Institute of Building Design. Dan has authored eleven books including “The Smaller Home”.

He has served on the board for the past nine years and is currently involved as the chair of the website committee as well as chair of the Home Plan Marketer’s Alliance.

Steve Mickley is the Executive Director of AIBD and a Certified Professional Building Designer. Prior to his current position, Steve most recently was the Managing Director of SGA Architecture in Palm Beach, FL and spent 10 years as owner of a residential design firm. Steve holds numerous awards, such as AIBD's President's Award and AIBD Designer of the Year. Steve’s many interests include skydiving where he broke a world record by successfully completing 52 skydives from an airplane within 11 hours and 15 minutes, each time packing his own parachute.  Steve resides in Washington, DC and Florida.

Penny Alston is the Operations Manager for AIBD.  Penny has worked with the Kellen Company for 11 years, where her responsibilities have included senior administrative manager for multiple clients, member services director, and meetings manager.  Her background includes budget development, meeting planning in addition to general association management.   Prior to joining the Kellen Company, she was employed with the American Institute of Architects where she served as the Assistant to the Vice President of Professional development.   Penny is a native of Washington, D.C and now resides in New Carrollton, Maryland.
