Here’s what we’re working on so far…
Join us for an afternoon walking tour featuring a part the Seaholm Development District, a former industrial section of southwest downtown Austin that is undergoing a transformation into a vibrant urban neighborhood. At the core of the district is an architectural gem built in the 1950s, the long-dormant Seaholm Power Plant, which offers a unique opportunity to preserve a key piece of Austin’s past and unite it with the region’s exciting future. This $130 million re-development includes a mix of office space, high-rise condos, retail shops, restaurants, and meeting space; all surrounding a dramatic and accessible plaza. Seaholm combines cultural and community needs in an exceptional setting for residents and visitors to enjoy for generations to come.
Afterwards, the group will meet at at Boiler Nine Bar + Grill (800 W. Cesar Chavez St), the newest restaurant in the Seaholm development, for a cash bar happy hour (light hors d’oeuvres will be served) and networking.
