About this event

We will hear from 5 speakers including 3 leading modular architects designing single family and multifamily projects. You will learn there is a difference from traditional design plans to then creating a functional modular design plan. Each element brings in site work details and factory engineered details in order to create a success onsite built product.

Audree M Grubesic is the owner of Modular Sure Site, an Off-Site Construction Company. Modular Sure Site collaborates with traditional builders and developers with offsite solutions for their next build project. She has first-hand experience of construction and project management incorporating on site pre-construction teams to build with confidence. Over the past 20+ years, she has excelled in marketing, sales, new business development, and homebuilding. OffsiteDirt.com is the brainchild of video interviews with the best in the business. Matt McMullen, Executive Director of Art of Construction has 35 years of experience in the design, real estate, modular and construction fields. Matt is a licensed Architect in California, Colorado, Nebraska and Texas, a licensed Real Estate Broker Associate in Colorado, and holds AIA, LEED-AP: BD+C and NCARB professional designations.

Hailing from Fargo, North Dakota, Jeff started young in the trades at as a ditch-digger then eventually graduated to carpenter. Fourteen years of armed forces service culminated in his last post as a Navy Construction Battalion Sea-Bee unit commander. A college bet gone awry led him into architecture, then Jeff made himself eminently unemployable by founding Artekta Architects in 2006. He led the first Midwest mixed-use podium modular project in 2008, and today serves a broad base of modular multifamily clients and production plant designs across the US.

Jenna McGregor of MCM Architecture brings a wealth of experience from over 20 years working with national firms and her own practice. Beginning in corporate commercial design, Jenna’s familiarity with volumetric was instrumental as she was introduced to modular off-site construction. Since this introduction in 2017, Jenna’s firm, MCM Architecture, serves clients nationwide with modular projects including retail, hospitality, multi-family, duplex and single family homes.

Erika Chavarria is an Architectural Project Manager for Art of Construction, based in Denver, Colorado. Erika studied Environmental Design, at CU Boulder with an emphasis in Architecture and Digital Fabrication. At AOC she works with clients to develop homes using modular construction methods.
