The easy way “U” “R” “adding” values in your designs.
You may already be familiar with R-values and U-values when it comes to constructing buildings, as it’s easy to remember that R stands for resistance – this value measures a material’s resistance to heat. 

 

On the other hand, U-values measure the overall rate of heat transference. 

It can be tricky to remember which values you need to add together quickly and which require more effort, but I’m here to show you that understanding these measurements is simpler than you think!
