QuickTie Products-High Wind and Seismic Tie Down System (1.0 P4 CE) Learn about an innovative framing solution for structural tie-downs that offers notable advantages over traditional systems, such as threaded rods and metal straps. QuickTie cables provide a continuous load path that securely cinches the structure from the top plate to the foundation, directly resisting critical forces like wind uplift, shear, and overturning that threaten buildings during severe weather events.

This COMPLIMENTARY one-hour session focuses on QuickTie Products' product offerings, with an emphasis on the advantages of using their QuickTie Cables. QuickTie Products is a structural component manufacturer located in Jacksonville, FL, and has been in business since 1999.

About our presenter, Brett Dexter, P.E., COO/Chief Engineer, Quick Tie Products - Brett is a second-generation engineer who earned his Bachelor of Science Degree and Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. There's no right or wrong answer here, just collective wisdom.

Coffee with Bernie is a monthly show for AEC professionals and their teams. It's a fun, informal roundtable or virtual gallery (literally) of colleagues open for discussion on any industry-related topic. We are not limited to talking about one thing. If you have something to share, please join us. Bring your most unique coffee cup or drinking glass.
