AIA bans design of execution facilities and solitary confinement spaces
The American Institute of Architects has adopted a new code of ethics that forbids members from designing spaces for the US Justice system used for execution, torture, or confinement of imprisoned people, as a part of a commitment to “dismantle racial injustice.”

CPBD practice test & sample test are both live!

Everyone who is an active Candidate for the CPBD Exam can now log in to the AIBD’s online testing platform at AIBD.org/testlogin and take a 60 minute, 58 question, practice test.

The practice test may be attempted a maximum of five times. There is no additional cost, the practice test is included with your application fee.

If the practice test does not show up in your list of available items when you log in, or if you are unable to log in, contact your Certification Director, Rusty Hudnet, by emailing certification@AIBD.org or by calling 202.750.4900 x2.

If you’re not an approved CPBD Candidate, set up a free account at AIBD.org/testlogin and experience the 10 minute, 10 question, sample test.

Then visit AIBD.org/certification and start the application process, also for free (payment is due when you’re app is ready to submit).
