WHAT IS THE MONDAY MINUTE?

The Monday Minute is a global movement of 8500+ high-achievers committed to #CreatingWherePeopleLive.

These unusually driven strivers join each week to receive a specially created video packed with one BIG idea, delivered in under 5 minutes, that will give them a competitive advantage.

The Monday Minute also contains written tips, events, and links to everything going on in the American Institute of Building Design, a nonprofit association of building design professionals that specialize in residential design and construction.

What to Do When You Know You’re Going to Miss a Deadline
There’s nothing more infuriating (not to mention unprofessional) than, “Oops, I missed today’s deadline. Can I turn it in next week?”

It happens to the best of us. Maybe the design work you thought would take you three hours is taking more like 13. Maybe Taco Tuesday turned into Food Poisoning Wednesday.

In any case, you’re going to miss a deadline, and you know your boss, your customer, or whoever else you owe your work to is not going to be excited.

Keep an eye on your inbox. I’ll follow up this week with a few tips on handling a missed deadline. Meanwhile, enjoy a replay of one of our Monday Minute Videos from last year.

First designed by mies in 1952, the plans were subsequently abandoned and forgotten until they were rediscovered in 2013.
