The classical dilemmas: The Doric corner conflict.

I was walking to my dentist the other day and noticed the corbels or brackets are adjacent to each other at the corners of the buildings within my neighborhood.

I’ve always set them in from the corner eight or ten inches.

Which is correct? Both solutions make sense, don’t they?

In classical architecture, there was a similar argument about triglyphs for centuries.

Here’s what I learned.

Meet our newest CPBDs!

Please help us congratulate our latest achievers.

Congrats! To those receiving our new coffee mug.

We are thrilled to announce a new tradition for our organization – a monthly raffle exclusively for members who renew their membership before the expiration date!

As a token of our appreciation for your continued support, we’re allowing you to win a one-of-a-kind, limited-edition coffee mug designed by our talented team.

The winners chosen from the April 30th renewals are:

  • Jim V. McWhirter (OK)
  • Joel Anderson (CO)
  • Joey Martin (IN)
Here’s how it works:

Each month, we will compile a list of members who have renewed their membership before the last day of the prior month. During our popular show, “Coffee With Bernie,” three lucky members will be randomly chosen from the list, and each will receive the coveted new coffee mug as a prize.

Not only will you be sipping your morning brew in style, but you’ll also have a unique keepsake representing our organization’s community spirit and your commitment to our cause.
If you haven’t renewed your membership yet, now is the perfect time to do so and get in on this exciting opportunity! Don’t miss out on the chance to win one of these exclusive coffee mugs and be part of our growing monthly tradition.

Remember, catch the Coffee With Bernie replays at AIBD.org/Coffee-With-Bernie and the live show every second Friday.
The following loyal and devoted AIBD members have reached a milestone.

Please help us celebrate their achievement by thanking them for their many years of support.
