Announcements

The mistake I made that cost me about $1000 for every inch.

Professional liability insurance and stock plan sales are complex topics with many nuances.

These questions often arise: What happens when a plan is created in a specific year but sold years later?

How does liability insurance apply?

Does the retroactive date go back to when the plans were first created, or does the active coverage on the date plans were sold apply?

A nearly 100-year-old wooden house survived the Lahaina fire. Here’s why.

The wildfires that struck Maui earlier this month devastated the historic town of Lahaina, reducing nearly every building to ashy rubble — but one wooden house in the center of it all survived unscathed.

The photo above is the house.

The picture was taken on Front Street in Lahaina, Hawaii, before it was renovated.

Experts say that trimming back trees that leaned against the home, laying river stones around the home, and installing a commercial-grade steel roof, offers a crucial lesson in wildfire safety.

Read the full article and see the house as it stands today…

Have a triumphant week!
