9 Resources and opportunities ensuring fair access to design. [#IDD2023]
While there may be some good arguments in favor of not requiring an architectural license to design single-family homes and townhouses, one argument is that not requiring a license can allow more people to enter the field of residential design.

On the other hand, there are concerns that not requiring a license could lead to lower design and construction quality.

The AIBD provides resources to help mitigate this and other potential drawbacks.

Join us as we celebrate International Design Day 2023 and the social equity provided by the residential exemptions in architectural law.

AIBD wants to pay for half of your first year of membership and ALL of your next year, if you’re already a member.

Millennials Who Can’t Afford Homes Are Zillow Surfing and Playing Home Design Games Instead
Posted by: Washintonian.com
“Housing browsing,” the act of scrolling through real estate listings and imagining oneself owning a dream home, has become a favorite pastime of Americans, especially renters who see property ownership as a far-off dream.
