SkillsUSA Architectural Drafting Competition Results!

As a part of the enormous SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference this past week in Atlanta, Georgia, three high school and three college students were awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals for their winning entries in the Architectural Drafting Competition.

AIBD member firm Davis Bews Design Group in Tampa, Florida, awarded the three high school winners more than $2500 in scholarships and the AIBD College of Fellows $3500 split between the secondary and post-secondary medalists.

The contest costs and the AIBD scholarships were underwritten by a generous group of AIBD members who contributed funds.

A total of 60+ students competed in the event. Each is a Gold Medal winner at their respective state SkillsUSA competitions, which earned them access to the national contest.
