The true “House of the Future” and the history of “Show Houses.”

Since the 1930s, hundreds of “futuristic houses” have been displayed at trade shows and exhibitions.

Also referred to as “Case Study Homes,” you can view new products and ideas installed in a real-life environment.

Steve gives us a quick history of show houses from Buckminster Fuller to the introduction of the International Builders Show.

And then, he reveals how to get free tickets to tour The New American Home 2024.

Miscellaneous

Except for Construction, Deceleration in U.S. Jobs Growth in August

Article source: ConstructConnect

The headline number for U.S. jobs growth in August, from a September 1 release of the Employment Situation report authored by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), is +187,000, which sounds pretty good at first reading.

Upon closer examination, however, it loses some luster.

The construction sector’s employment situation has managed to escape the negativity.

Have a triumphant week!
