The making of an expert: 3 tips from the experts.

In 2007, the Harvard Business Review published an article discussing the importance of deliberate practice in becoming an expert.

In 2011, Malcolm Gladwell referred to the “10,000-hour rule” in Outliers: The Story of Success, asserting that practicing is the key to achieving true expertise in any skill.

Experts say we should brush our teeth for two minutes twice a day.

Does that mean it takes 27 years to become an expert at it?

This week, Steve breaks down three tips for becoming an expert in our field, centering on the one that is the most difficult for building designers.
